This requirement does not apply to European Citizens. For citizens of many countries, a valid passport is sufficient to enter Slovenia. Nevertheless Slovenia is quite strict for the persons who are not from the Schengen area, who do not have Schengen visa and who are entering Schengen area through Slovenia. For them the invitation letter provided by the Symposium Secretariat is not enough. They need an official letter of guarantee provided by the Administrative Unit. Participants who require a visa to enter Slovenia can download this letter of guarantee at the bottom of this page. Kindly note that no foreign agency is eligible to issue this letter. Payment of registration fee should be settled before the visa procedure starts. The letter of guarantee facilitates participant´s visa arrangements only, and does not imply provision of any financial or other support. Participants are advised to inquire into visa requirements at the nearest Slovenian embassy or consulate. Information on visas and addresses of Slovenian embassies is available on the web site of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at: www.mzz.gov.si. In case you will apply for a visa at any Slovenian embassy, please fill in the form below in order to obtain the letter of guarantee and fax it to +386-1-24-17-296 or send it attached in an e-mail to registration@cd-cc.si at least two months before arrival. The organiser is authorized to demand payment of registration fee before the visa procedure starts. Please note that all costs are to be covered by the participant (verification tax and dhl post costs if needed).
